I don't want it to flip, however, when I'm flying in sport and I suddenly stop, it looks like the drone is on it's "back props" only, because of its stopping so fast. Could this lead to a flip? Because I am afraid if it flips it wont get back on the right side and I'll crash.

Hi, for the flight safety purpose, normally, it is recommended to fly the drone in P-mode. In S-mode, the aircraft responses are optimized for agility and speed make it more responsive to stick movements. Thanks!

You likely won't be able to flip the Mavic Air unless you're flying in extremely windy conditions (which of course is not recommended).

The intensity of the brake can be adjusted in the following section of DJI GO:

It would be best to adjust this setting mid-flight so you can see how it affects the brake. As you lower that setting, it'll take longer for your Mavic Air to come to a complete stop. Make sure you make those adjustments while flying above any nearby obstacles (so you don't accidentally crash into them).

Best brake setting is around 115%
Note: The brake will automatically increase in sport mode
