My $40 cheap ass mall drone had a more stable app than the Spark. DJI needs to fire their dev team and hire the one's the dirt cheap drone guys use.

I am displeased with the performance of the android app. Freezing stuttering video, and lost signal to the app. I was not far away. fortunately the controller allowed retun to home. I thought that is was finally working right, as the last few flights worked good. Now it's back to not working right. I feel that from DJI, I expected the quality of the software to be as good as the quality of the hardware.  I understand that the ios version of the go 4 app is much more reliable than the android app.

Please tell me the model of your mobile device. We would recommend users use the recommended devices for better performance.

I'm using the LG V20. I guess I could always roll the app back to the last version, was working good.

I'm using a Samsung S8 and I think I've only had one app crash in the two weeks I've been using it. That's more stable that the majority of the apps I use!

2 flights after this and the wifi from the remote to my phone is constantly glitching.

Solved!! I uninstalled 4.2.8 from the play store. Downloaded 4.2.6, installed it. Now everything is back to working great. Why couldn't the software testers see the video glitches? Anyway, back to being a (semi) happy customer.
