Phantom 4 problem.

I haven't used the P4 in a while, but yesterday had the following problem... I'm unable to switch to video mode and also unable to take stills when in photo mode. When I attempt to switch to video, the screen goes black for a moment, the gimbal slowly pans to the left, screen comes back on and is back in camera mode.

Anyone experience this before?

I've updated all firmware, both controller and drone and am running latest version of DJIGo4 on iPad Pro

Hey Manchester, may I know which SD card do you use? Please try to format the SD card and reset the camera settings to see whether it works.

No Photo / No Video

After updating both the controller and drone to the latest firmware I am unable to take photos or switch to video mode.When taking a photo, the app makes the shutter sound and appears as though it is recording a photo but nothing is on the SD card.
Additionally, the app lags on a black screen for a brief moment, then all camera setting display N/A, the apps states "No Image Transmission" as well.

When switching to video, similar behavior.

I have deleted and reinstalled the app. I have tried mulitiple IOS devices, mulitiple SD Cards, reformatted cards etc.

This problem sometimes occurs if the SD card is not responding properly, that's why you were asked what card it was. The best card is a Sandisk Extreme Pro and it should be formatted in the aircraft, not on a computer.

As suggested, were you reformatting the sd card, in the drone?

If reloading the app, be sure to delete your internet cache and cookies, then reboot the device, and then download the app.

Using SanDisk Extreme UHS-1 64GB. Same brand and format that I have used countless times. Have tried three different cards, all formatted in the drone.

Just for the sake of pushing some buttons......take it out of Jpeg + Raw

Just set the camera to Jpeg........see if that does anything for you.......

I have tried the following:
Delete and re-installation of the app
No SD Card
Multiple SD Cards
Reformatting SD Cards
Multiple IOS devices
Using DJI Assistant 2 (app will not connect)

This occurred after the most recent firmware update.
On a FaceBook thread in Official DJI owners a user experienced the EXACT situation complete with the "strong wireless interference message" and gimbal slowly panning from right to left - this is identical to my experience.

Their unusual solution:

"David Dowson Looks like I’ve fixed this issue. Plugged my dji goggles into the controller and was able to get a video feed, then switched to my phone and hey presto everything is fine, weird but it’s fixed and I’m happy.."

All camera data briefly flashes N/A.
