My local salmon fishery and home town. ND16 1/80 - 1/120 ISO 100 Was hoping to capture the otters that generally feed at the time I was flying....not a sign today. They will swim right up to you, nor fear.

Thank you, appreciated. The trees are just starting to get their summer coats this last week, leaves of every colour, the wild flowers are starting to show, going to be colourful in a few weeks. Hope it stays warm and the sun shines.

Thanks Andy, this is my local salmon beat that I get to fish more often than not. The deep colours are starting to come, the spring rush has just started, a month later than normal. According to a forecaster here we are going to melt this summer..... I hope he's right lol.

This morning the sun was splitting the skies so we decided to head off to a small port near Cork city to do some filming. An hour and a half drive to get there and clouds and drizzle, no flying. So we had dinner and headed home and go figure the sun was still splitting the skies here..... ohhhh well always tomorrow lol

Nightmare situation - though I hope dinner made up for it. That is why the drones of the future need to be waterproof so you could have flown there anyway! I wonder if the P5 really will be - they've already done it with the Matrice 200 so very doable!

The dinner was fabulous, traditional fish and chips, mushy peas lol Best fish and chips I've had since being in Malta last year.

I for one would welcome a fully waterproof drone, it would be tested fully here in Ireland for sure. But it's pie in the sky until DJI announce it's release and if it will be waterproof, fingers crossed.

Never heard of it LOL - but can see it's just slightly Northeast of Birmingham up in the midlands. I'll have to check it out the next time I'm up that way.

We got a river here in Florida that the water is literally black and it is also one of the few rivers in the world that flows North.

Very nice long shots, both fading, transitions, and leading.  Great color, and perfect choice of music, too.  Nice to see you give up-front credits as well.  
Now get back there and get us some footage of them otters !!!!

Going to be filming, amongst other things, a short fishery documentary about fly fishing for Wild Atlantic Salmon over the coming month or two utilising drones, stills, hand held video.  The otters are high on the list of 'to capture on film'  as well as kingfishers, mink, cormorants and gifted salmon anglers whose passion is the river and everything to do with it.  Gentlemen with shall we say unique characters.  Watch this space.... otters and more coming.

Absolutely awesome, that's fabulous news. Now she'll fight you for the drone and when she gets her hands on it, it gets a feminine name change, it will be all girly. A small price to pay.  So get her an Air/pro and get her to join here lol they can gang up on us.

The fresh air and solitude I am used to, been salmon fishing and guiding for more years than I care to remember, it is living the dream. This year the difference will be I fully intend filming the season.
