Hi guys,
due to the new iPad from Apple, I just ask to you which is the best in your opinion between new iPad and iPad 4 mini.
New iPad is economic, has A10 chip, is 9,7" at 264 ppi and the screen is not antiglare.
iPad 4 mini is more expensive, has A8 chip (2x slower), is 7,9" at 326 ppi and the screen is antiglare.

Best economic A10 power and big screen, or best expensive little antiglare screen?

The mini fits inside the controller, and I don’t think you’ll notice any difference in performance.

You don't require an antiglare screen.

But faster processing is key to optimal performance, from a power hungry app. ;-)

You literally just said the opposite of the truth. Nothing the DJI App does will even fully tax the mini4, while having an Anti-glare screen most certainly does make a difference. That is if you want to actually see what is happening.

The sun doesn't bother me, as much as a slower processor would.

If you need glare protection. www.ghost-armor.com for a matte finish screen film.

I tried a Mini, and thought it was nice, but a bigger screen is awesome.
So, if you really want to see everything better, buy the larger real estate. ;-)

4 mini does the job better because of its size. No problem with performance.

No brained. A10. Last Go4 update triggered a lot of whining about A5s no longer working. A8 is just a few updates away.
Your device is the weakest link, DON’T skimp on it.

Thank you at all.
Finally the new iPad is antiglare just acquiring a matte screen film (like Cable Technologies do, but probably is not necessary with sun hold), more economic (-€80) than mini and has A10 chip, 2x faster for DJI GO4 and editing photos & videos (important in some cases). The capacity, 32GB vs 128GB of mini, is not so important for me.
In this case, you guys said because the performance is not so affected by the A10 chip vs A8 chip, the larger is better. Probably now the best choiche even if require an adaptor for radio controller.
When and if I buy, I'll try with PH4 Pro and then I'll post results.

My suggestion is to buy a DJI CrystalSky, 5.5 inch. You will have less trouble than iPad or iPhone.

DJI CrystalSky is a very great monitor, thinking for cinematography. But not prevent to buy a device controller as iPad 2018.
In any case, the new device arrive this week and today I'll try for the first time
