I'm new in the forum. I am also a beginner in the world of drones.
I've been testing my Spark for a few days. I'm delighted, but, I can not perform any quickshot. The message on the screen when selecting myself, or any other object, is always "aircraft too high" and the square on the screen is always in red (never turns green with "go")
I recalibrated all the elements of the drone. The other specials flight functions, normally work ......
Please, can anyone help me?

I've never seen that message.  When you start your quickshot, is the Spark close enough to you?  In other words, you aren't trying to do a dronie or helix from 400 ft up are you?

In all the occasions I was between 1,5 meters and 2 meters of distance and of height.

how do you select yourself? tapping the screen? or dragging a box?

Dragging a Box and sometimes tapping the screen too.

What about active track? Can you use active track with spark? Please ensure that you have the right procedure of quickshot. Here is the reference:

Yes I did exactly as recommended.
The strange thing is that I used the active track normally.
Now is late here in Brazil, but tomorrow I’ll try again and post the results here. Thanks to all of you

Even when I was flying / planing at 1m, 1,5m, 2m.... and 1 or 2 or 3 meters away from me. I’ve never seen the square with “go”!!!

Try selecting your entire body, with no body parts out of the rectangle. Pic related.

I had the exact same problem, soon you wil get encoder an air encoder error, mine was a failed motherboard which dji replaced under warranty.

I already select full body.... actually I really try a thousands things.

I don't think it is reasonable for a consumer to invest more than $ 500 in a product and not be able to enjoy the promised functions.

Sorry to know that!
Make sure the front sensor is clean. Try to refresh or upadate the firmware. Try to reinstall the DJI GO app.
As far as I know DJI will never ask anyone from Brazil to send their drones for repairing. We are out of their reach.
If the problem persists I would replace it at the store you bought. They are obligated to replace it under warranty. Of course, only if it's a brand new spark.

I have the same problem with mavic pro. And it appeared after update of DJI GO 4.
