Hi All
I have just received another battery and I have fully charged it with no problems.But when I put it into the drone and power everthing up and click on 'start flight' on the go4 it the shows 'overall status'....'battery authentication failed'....How do I cure this problem ?? Any help will be very much appreciated

Sounds like you have a battery that may not be authentic.  Is it authentic?  Where did you get it?  Could you provide a photo of it?

Update your battery's firmware in either DJIGO4 or the computer with DJI Assistant 2. Then your battery should work.

I said it was a new battery BUT I should have said that it was a battery that I got from another person that may have used it on their drone before they sold the drone..It came it a dji box that has all the relivant serial number and looks to be genuine...

You would update the battery in the drone, with the latest firmware being installed. But if it's a counterfeit, DJI won't allow it to work correctly.

Is it an authentic DJI intelligent flight pack?
