Just seen that the new update is available on andoid.
My spark is currently performing really well after the previous update causing lots of annoying minor bugs so I'm a little reluctant to do it. Anyone else updated / have anything to report?

Thanks for the reply.
I am rocking a Samsung Galaxy S8. I have an OTG cable but have not tried it out yet.
Also there is no mention of Spark in release notes.....

unfortunately this update is not for SPARK . I think 4.2.12 is the correct version for SPARK

NO, do not upgrade > 4.1.22, see release note of the spark. No need for newest version it's all about Mavic Air stuff

Yep it would be good to hear what's the official version of the app that would be for the Spark.

When I bought it was with 4.2.12 which automatically got updated to 4.2.14 a while after, at the moment I am surpressing the update to 4.2.16.

Agreed. I'll leave that one alone!

Version 4.2.12 activated the OTG for Spark again after it was deactivated in version 4.1.22.
Version 4.2.14 corrected the bug when Spark locked and reported "Aircraft is locked".
Version 4.2.16 nothing new to Spark.
I use version 4.2.14 and I will not update it yet.

You want true stable version,go for 4.1.15
You want to change to 2,4ghz, install 4.1.14 after change to 2.4 GHZ update to 4.1.15.
All versions after 4.1.15 have several bugs (ref this forum)And it's easier to downgrade on android then on iphone, be aware of that when installing always the latest version.
You don't want to loose your Spark....think before your upgrade......!!!!

i think v4.2.12 has a better battery life than v4.1.15.including the OTG connection.
This is the only reason for the version 4.2.12

I used to get only 9.5 minutes in SPORTS mode.  NOW it comes to 10.5 to 11.5 minutes in SPORTS mode.

Good day. Thank you for the updates and additional information. It is really a very big help for the team.

Just for curiosity reasons I updated from 4.2.15 to .16 and I'll be going back to .15 in just a few minutes....it was a stupid idea, especially since I fly a spark.

I can say this - The new update caused things to run very slow, especially when starting the app. Several "Go4 isn't responding" errors which of course causes the app to restart and by chance you might actually get into the app but not several minutes have passed and battery is just wasting power...would kinda cancel out the "optimized battery consumption" if I were flying a mavic  

I should clarify - Previous version was .14, not .15
