When I select Hybrid or Satellite the display is blcak, any suggestions?

I assume you don't have Cellular Data ON right ?

Try Cacheing the Area of the Map before you go to Fly.

You can also download the Maps for your Country if you use Android. I downloaded Malta + Italy on my Samsung S8+.

** There seems a Problem with DJI Server using Here Maps for Android from January 2018 **

Why don't you try downloading the Offline Map of your Area in Australia with Google Maps and see if the DJI Go4 App will load it ?

If you want to use Here Maps you can role back the DJI Go4 to Version 4.1.15

Some other guy had this problem too today -
