I plan to fly my P3 in two locations that are less than 2 miles apart.  Is it necessary to recalibrate the compass when I move between these two locations or are they close enough that compass would stilll be accurate?

My recollection is if you've gone more than 10 miles you should re-calibrate.   But hey, when in doubt...

I re-calibrate every time I fly. It only takes a minute or less and i don't want any problems because i wanted to save a minute.

You should recalibrate before each flight.

Now I re-calibrate the compass BEFORE every flight .  I would not get consistent  hovering if I did not do it every time ....

seriously, just recali every time you move even a few hundred feet, it takes less than a minute.

I recalibrate before every flight, just to be safe.

I always calibrate between every flight. Even if its the exact same location.
