I just guessed for the compass that the DJI wrote about not calibrating if you did not request the Go app.
I can see that there are still two kinds of opinions.
I just calibrated once because I put it on top of my computer and it disturbed its compass. Not since then.
Maybe I remember it badly, but Spark flew away that, who calibrated it before ...
It would be good to figure out what this phenomenon really means (error):
- A weakly constructed factory-vulnerable compass?
- Firmware error, which badly handles the compass error?
- Go app. wrong command?
- GPS error?
The error messages are very strange:
"In Flight, working IMU encounters heading exception, please switch to atti mode if craft behave abnormally; Yaw Error"
"Weak GPS signal Positional accuracy may be compromised Please fly with caution Yaw Error"
What if this is not compass error but GPS signal receiving error?
Someone here on the forum said the compass and the GPS line are tied to the IMU.
The contradiction of the GPS and the compass causes Yaw to fail, but the GPS may say it against the compass and this IMU can not handle it.
I never understood why the GPS mode is switched off because of the compass error, but if the GPS signal is not okay, then the "ATTI" mode can be understood ...
This is just guessing, from the information so far ... If someone says better, we will be happy to hear... |
