I know I most likely can't downgrade but it's worth a shot before returning it. I'm having issues with 1.1.8. and it doesn't allow for me to connect my iOS devices to it.

I think a lot of people are having problems with firmware 1.1.8, myself included. My brand new iPad 3 mini that I bought specifically for my phantom 3 Pro disconnects multiple times per flight. It is frustrating to say the least and I am hoping this will be fixed with the next firmware. If it doesn't then I might try to return as well, because this thing is useless to me if I can't stay connected to the app. Come on DJI, fix this issue!!

Did you rebind the remote controller after the FW upgrades? Maybe this can help, at least according to one user here
