Yesterday I forgot I was in sport mode and while landing my Spark, I crashed into my truck. The drone shut down and I got all the usual warnings on my screen. I shut down the drone then after checking it out and seeing that I forgot to switch sport mode off, I switched it off and  I tried to had launch it. When the motors came on, they were at top speed and I got a over revved warning on my screen and I could
Not shut the drone off - after trying everything to shut it down and almost losing my finger in the process, it shut off when I turned the Spark upside down - ok what happened??  This is was weird, but I want to know what to do if the motors run away like that again.

Good day. I am sorry that your drone crashed. The best thing that we can do is please send the drone in for further assessment. Our repair team needs to assess the drone to check is nothing was damage after the crash. Thank you.

First, in case you didn’t know: it’s supposed to shut off when you turn it upside down, that’s a safety mechanism.

As for the rest, that shouldn’t have happened, regardless if your remote was in sports mode. Usually, when you start up in sports mode, it starts up in standard mode anyway, and you have to switch back and forth to get it into sports mode. So you might have damaged it internally in the crash.

Did you at least remove the battery after the crash, and reset it that way? If so, were there no error messages on the app? Very strange...
