At the begining I want to show my devices:

Drone - Mavic Pro Platinum

My tablet's are:

Medion Lifetab P8912 with android 5.0.2 (I've already flown with this tablet - it was in april and may).

App and device version are shown in screen

July starts with problems....

I can't get connection with my drone...

Start the DJI GO APP - next turn on the remote controller/transmitter  - then DJI GO app waiting for connection...
Then I see that remote controller are in charging mode (the same cable I used in April and May with 4.2.14 or 4.2.16 app version).
I use the same cable to connect remote controller to my phone Samsung Galaxy S5 with 6.0.1 Android and it see connection immediately.

I've already reinstal DJI GO app in my tablet, install previous versions of DJI GO APP 4.2.12 - 4(.2.14 - 4.2.16) - no luck
set my tablet to factory settings (default) - no luck...
try to connect other cables - no luck...

try to connect with my second tablet (Medion Lifetab S10334 with android 4.4.2) - with DJI GO APP 4.2.12 - 4(.2.14 - 4.2.16)

In the application description minimal requirements are android 4.4 or higher (my two tablest have those or higher android systems).

DJI GO APP 4.2.12 - 4(.2.14 - 4.2.16)

I'm guessing that the problem is software of transmitter

Did they kill older android versions ? (Why app works on android 6.0.1 ? and don't work on 5.0.2 and 4.4.2 ?)

I have a Medion Lifetab S10346 on Android 5.0.2 and just for you have tested right now with DJI GO 4 version 4.2.16 (.20 not yet available for tablet here). There were no problems. Have you tried starting the RC before starting GO 4?

Yes, I tried different combinations (first remote, then dji go app, first djigo app - then remote, first remote - then dji go app , then cable from remote to tablet and vice versa) - no luck.

What version of remote controller You have ? what software version ?

Mavic Air with latest firmware. Before that Spark, which also worked well.

I am sorry that you are having issues with the Medion Lifetab S10346 in connecting with your Mavic Pro. Compatibility can be a reason why you are not connecting properly with your drone. I will be posting the list of recommended mobile devices for your Mavic Pro.



When using a non recommended device some of the functions of the DJI Go 4 application or the Mavic Pro will not work properly.

Yes, but it worked for a long time (first with my phantom 3 pro - next with Medion tablets ).... and suddenly no connection...I bought this tablet only for my drone...and now I must buy next device.... and after time I will get same message (buy NEW supported device)....


I have Samsung Galaxy S6 - app worsk with MEGA LAGS - I see picture after 2-3 seconds later..... on Medion tablets it ALWAYS worsks without LAGS....(when they get connection)

For MPP use GO 4.1.22 , you will see works like a charm on android 4.4.2Check your PM I will send you

I am running DJIGO V4.2.20 on my MEDION MD60036 (Lenovo P1050X) without any problems on Android 7.1. On my other tablet, I got installed Android 5.2 and there's also no problem running the new DJIGO.

I would try to refresh your Mavic in DJI Assistant if.
