After seeing Quadkid's time-lapse, i decided to give it a try. This is what i learned. 1. TURN OFF LIGHTS. 2. PUT YOUR BIRD IN TRIPOD MODE. 3. USE AN ND FILTER. 4. MOVE THE DRONE FOWARD AND NOT HOVER. 5. TIME-LAPSE CAN BE DIFFICULT. 6. IT TAKES A LOT OF PHOTO'S TO MAKE ONE. 7. IT TAKES A LOT OF TIME TO EDIT. 8. PRACTICE, PRACTICE PRACTICE AND PRACTICE.

Nice work. Indeed it can be difficult to shoot a timelapse with a drone as the biggest premise with timelapse photography is that the camera is solidly stationary for the duration of the shots.

Did you shoot in raw?

Yes I did shoot in Raw. I got a lot of movement even thought the wind was blowing 6mph.

4. MOVE THE DRONE FOWARD AND NOT HOVER.

Is that for purpose of giving Time-Lapse a change in perspective?  Like watching a plant grow bigger, while backing away?

. With all the moving I had in the hovering attempt, I figured not moving  is where I went wrong. Seanie2322 said stationary is the way to go. So I will give it a few more tries, to see if I can get that plant to grow and blossom .

I have made a lot of timelapses, but so far never with the MP.
But you have sparked something here.
I will give it a go.
I did notice the text moving around. Did you apply stabilization (possibly from youtube) after rendering it?
Also it looks like you jump back in time after a few seconds.

Still good try and very hard to shoot this.
What settings did you use?

Thanks Monty. I missed a few frames in the fit to frame process. left on Ken Burns.

Shot in Raw. -1-1-0

1 pic every 5 sec.

I think was a bit much. 266 pic in just over 25 mins.

Nice Job Woe, sunsets are difficult, may I suggest alway shoot in manual mode using the first frame as you base setting for the entire series. You will always get some movement as the drone compensates for Lat/Lon lock and any wind. Once you have your finished product, create the video, stabilize and render it, then stabilize it again and render, this will help, doing it more than twice typically will not have any advantage. Remember the shorter the interval the smoother the time lapse. You are restricted if you are shooting in RAW as the P3 series and MP series write speed is only 60Mbs whereas the P4 series & MA are 100Mbs which will allow shorter intervals.

an other way , not really a timelapse is fly in between 2 waypoints(very slow) and record video, then speedup the video 3x- 3.5x times  in your edit program, looks the same but no stabilization errors, here some other ways

Thank you so much for the Video. The last possibility of WayPoints was new to me.

But I have another question. I tried to do a time-lapse some time ago.

For the time-lapse, I kept the slider pressed to the left all the time.
Is there any way to do this automatically?
When I fly with WayPoints, the MavicPro always turns in this direction, but I want it to fly sideways, as in my example video.
