Hi iv bought a Samsung tab3 s GT P5210 FIRMWARE 4.42  and installed the dji go 4 app for dji since p4 and every time I try it it says Unfortunately dji 4 has stopped . need help please Thanks

Thanks I did view this before I bought as it states firmware 4.40 or later mine is 4.42 Thanks

Aloha fansf9,

     Unfortunately, you are having a fairly common problem.  Sometimes, you can update the Android operating system and then there is the Samsung firmware for the TAB 3 S GT (P5210).  Contact Samsung support to see if you can get any updates or upgrades.

     With these older tablets running Android 4.42, the DJI GO 4 app is extremely demanding.  You will need to remove any apps that are not needed to fly and stop any Auto-Updates.  Most of the "Unfortunately, DJI GO 4 has stopped" are a result of an update occurring in the background.  

     I only use my Samsung TABPro 10.1 for the DJI GO app.  Mine is also 4.42 but it does not have the power for DJI GO 4.  And Samsung said my device is not scheduled for any firmware or OS upgrades any time soon.

     After that, you can also try to change to "Airplane Mode" before you open the DJI GO4 app.  This will isolate your tablet from any Internet disturbances and interferences with your flight.

     Otherwise, as Natalia notes, you may need to use a different device to test to see if that helps isolate the problem.
