Hi guys after all this time commenting on others I have never posted a photo
can someone tell me in the most basic way how to do it l have some great photos l would like to share

if you just wish to share here, you can upload content directly, click the picture button and brows and pick the correct photo..

if you want more flexibility and just post it around to internet:

and of course you can host it yourself on your own webpage/servers. or discord chat server and twitter or facebook and the like

First you need a host server to upload your photos to. I use Post Image its free and pretty much unlimited photo space click Post Image just Sign Up then you can upload your photos. Once uploaded just click share, a window will open with a bunch of links, select the one you want to use then just click on copy link, come back to the forum thread you want then paste the link in your thread or reply.

When you reply or post a new thread you click on advanced and there you will see at the top you can attach/picture.  There are limits on the size you can upload through here though I typically use IMGUR.  That is where I upload most of my images and just post a link to them here.  When you upload them to a hosting site you wil get a BB Code link, that is what you want to use when posting in the forums.  I like Imgur because it is free.

First post your header then write something in your opening post. Don’t try posting in your opening post, just click save.
Then click reply to your own post , click upload and choose your photo, it’s as simple as that.

Saves having to link things - just a simple upload and voila

Ok try this, you already know how to set up a thread and to post a reply.
First set up a thread, use topic first then title header. Click save, it will save in videos/photos of forum category. You may have to write something in main box of your thread, ie My Photo

Next go to your thread click on reply (yes you are replying to your own thread) click on upload I have marked, it will take you directly to your photos, just choose your photo it will upload as a link, when you click reply big blue box it will then reply to your thread and photo will be embedded.

Hey hallmark l am getting closer all was working well until I tried to post it
but it just sat there as a draft l think it said the single photo was to big but
it might be that I only have an iPad to use not a computer

Hello Gregbella.
Max image size for upload here is limited to 2 MB. You might have to downsize before you can upload.
Using a PC that can easily be done in Paint or any other image editor.

Sorry to here you are still having problems, but as flydk has said pics must be below 2mb, if you can reduce in your iPad then you shouldn’t have this problem , I believe if you store your photos in your camera roll, then they should already be reduced, I upload all mine through iPad also with no problem.

Sorry for the late answer but I’m stuck up a hill in Lanzarote in Spain .

I fully understand how difficult and confusing this can seem to be although it's a very simple task. I'm 56 years at age and for a couple of years I've been struggling HARD to learn more about smartphones. In fact, it's simple, but my brain would not accept the difference between a Windows PC and an Android phone. Work on with it and then it all begins to be much easier to understand. Good luck mate.

It's a sad decision my friend... I did send you a PM earlier. If you answer, I would like to help you with those pictures. We can exchange email addresses and send back and forth if nothing else. But you decide of course. I just think it's a shame you can not show us your photos.

If your photo is too big you can shrink using free image resizer, make an own format like 3840x2160 pixels.

I can work just about anything out on my iPad and iPhone
it’s just this form everything seems so complicated

Go to desired category is first.

Click on "new thread"

Then you can upload the picture.

for photos mine brings up word pad with an upload photo opp
