Going to upgrade my parrot ardrone2 next week to something better. Tempted by the Air as the reviews say the camera is slightly better but connection worries me with WiFi drones and have seen a few posts about Airs range and lost connection even at close range. Is the Mavic still the better machine?

Is DJI going to create a firmware that will allow you not to have to hard wire the DJI Mavic Air to the DJi  Goggles RE?

Don’t think that will happen, if that’s the deal breaker then you need ocusync drone, might be better waiting until new release on 18th July .

I agree with hallmark007.

Not too fussed about the goggles. Pro2 would be interesting but likely to expensive...
On a trip to the USA next week so was gonna bring it back to the UK. Could be now or in a few months time

Both or wait until 18 July so what is on the table then...
