Hoping someone can help.
The compass on my mavic DJI go 4 app just doesnt seem to be right. For example north being shown on the map is not where north actually is. Ive calibrated the drone a number of times and the actual drone arrow seems to be pointing the right way. Any idea on how to get the app showing north at the correct point?
Hi, sorry for the inconvenience that it may cause, have you tried to check it on another mobile device to check if the app will provide inaccurate information? Please provide the firmware version of your aircraft as well as the DJI go 4 app?

Both app and drone are on the most up to date firmware

Any chance compass for map is Locked? Look for little Padlock in corner of map. Would help if you could post a screen snap.
Don't think so, if the issues persist on the next flight ill take some screen shots
You might try to download our DJI Assistant 2 as well on your computer then try to restore factory defaults and refresh the firmware afterward reboot your aircraft and re-calibrate the IMU and compass of your Mavic Air. Please keep us posted for updates.
I have a similar issue - probably because you put your phone right next to the controller which contains metal. Try calibrating your phone while it is connected to the controller.

Go to compass on your phone and do a figure 8 in the air with your phone a few times it will calibrate the compass on the phone
and do a figure 8 in the air with your phone a few times
Explanation for dummies:
Hold the phone in your hand, open compass settings, put it in calibration mode and the app will ask to do a figure 8 to calibrate. Simple instructions to follow
