I've been trying for weeks to get my older P3P going again and now I'm faced with another what I hope is the last hurdle. I've had to go back to an old iPhone5s that I know has flown this drone before, however now when I get everything fired up I am getting a Disconnected message on the screen and on the Remote Controller the small light to the left of the 4 white lights that shows the battery level, is now blinking very fast red/green. Can't seem to find any online reference to this
Any ideas would be very gratefully accepted!!

According to ther manual, it means the HD downlink has been disrupted. See page 28.

Always top up your flight kit batteries, before trying to ascend...

I would say that the RC firmware needs updating.

Try the following :-

If using iOS device then update DJI Go 4 to V4.1.21 then try the following:-

With RC and display connected (aircraft off), and display has a good wifi connection to internet. Run DJI Go 4 and 'enter device'. Open the 'aircraft status' screen by tapping the screen at top edge where it says 'disconnected'. The top line 'Overall Status' should show if update required (this may take a few seconds to appear). If it does then tap on that and it should take you through the process to update RC. That may make the difference to your display.

Thanks Aardvark....not sure if you meant to say Dji Go, not DJI Go 4 (this is for a phantom 3Pro.
I'll try what you've suggested. thanks for the feedback

My mistake, I had my P4 head on. Yes try that with DJI Go.

Hi, sorry to say I never solved this problem and ended up selling the drone (for a very cheap price!)

Alright.
Thanks for the reply

I'm thinking of getting a new controller since the USB port seems faulty too, and hopefully the fault exists with the rc and the ac is jus fine.
