One of the best features of the Osmo Mobile 2 is the motion timelapse - great fun and can produce some great results. I manged to record quite a few recently so i created this video.
The downside filming on a cruiseship is the wind - can really ruin your timelapse!

Filmed using Samsug S7
Edited using Kinemaster (Android).

I  have only tried the TL option twice and have to say that your footage is far smoother than mine

Did you use a tripod?
I try to find a spot that is sheltered from the wind..and hope for the best!

I  was comparing your footage from walking through the ship

Great video.. I have a question.. On the transitions I saw some distortions in the video.  Is that due to the app you were using, the wind, or was it something else?

Ahh,I see. The Hyperlapse is tricky - long time walking like a ninja, slow and steady trying to keep my arm in one position.

I failed on sharp turns - like walking up stairs. Watching it back made me feel sick!

It's a 'glitch' transition I used in editing. (Kinemaster).

Hi,
Your time-lapses are good
The hyper-lapse is just the footage in fast forward?
Hyper-lapse is a lot more time consuming to achieve as you are taking shots over considerable long distances, moving the camera after every shot.
As for doing a time-lapse the camera remains somewhat stationary in one position, maybe with a panning motion or up and down motion,  as you have shown us in your time-lapse shots

Professional movie, thank you!

But start wondering how bad the camera is in my One Plus 5. Provided with my Nexus 6P but that all buttons are on one side makes it difficult to mount in Osmo Mobile 2.
