How do I save pictures directly to micro SD card according to P4P+ v2.0 ?

The app Dji go do it for you automatic .. all files , video and pictures go to the sd card every time you do a shot

Whats the purpose of the SD card in the RC on the plus models - is that for FW updates?

Yes that's all but can be used to hold a spare card for the aircraft

That means you need to move all pictures or videos to computer once taking a shot every time

Sorry i don't understand that statement. The pictures and movies you take are stored on the SD mounted in the aircraft.
If you have caching enabled a lowres copy is saved on the controller from where it could be copied to a computer using a USB cable, normally you have no need to keep the cache files from the controller/device.
