The first few times I ever flew my Spark it would momentarily jump into ATTI mode, then right back to GPS, just like you're reporting. Based on a comment I read on one of the forums, I did a careful IMU calibration. I happen to have access to a perfectly flat and level granite surface plate, so I should be able to get a calibration as good or better than the factory can. Since then I've never had the issue repeat. This weekend I went out and tossed it around in sport mode as violently as it would go, and nary a hiccup. Coincidence? With a sample size of 1 it's impossible to tell. I wish there was some way to force ATTI mode, I would like to know if it would drift or stay still. |
