Reading through the forum this morning I THINK I heard/read that a red light on the RC does not equal loss of signal?!! Or did i just want to read that?
I updated my AC via assistant 2 and since than have been getting  a red light on my RC. I thought that the lasest update would include the RC, but what i read indicates no update for RC.
I need a sanity check here. Im new to DJI but not drones. So pardon me for asking basic questions. BUT after my first flight(which was great) i seem to be loosing signal ( which means to me red light on RC)The bird would take off then just hover. Controles did nothing, except a icon for forced land (which was most welcom)Since then ive eaten up all vids on RC connect and even pairing to no avail.Am I spinning my wheels pole vaulting over mouse turfs?

The light on the controller should be green indicating a link to the MA.  Sounds like you need to re-link (bind) the controller to the MA.

Read through the manual regarding linking the RC to the AC.
