When I flew today I got an option when I did RTH.  "Original position" or "current position". I had not moved and had set the RTH position before the off. I just cancelled and landed manually. But why would I get this?  I didn't want to trust the home position location as normally I just get a confirmation.   Ideas?

Nope. Original seeing to take off position.

It’s not normal for this to happen, but it can be simple to set this up. I think you should test again make sure that your setting is set to RTH and homepoint is recorded then fly outside 20 metres press RTH and see if it repeats.
Also in most cases you would need cell and gps to set dynamic homepoint.
