I'm considering buying a new phone in case I break my old HTC 10 during the planned replacement of the battery. I'd like to make a poll to see what phones have many issues or none at all. I'd also appreciate a short description of the issues you had, of course Thank you very much, and who knows, maybe DJI software engineers then see for which phones they should check compatibility.
I checked what people have to say about compatibility and issues they had with Samsung Galaxy S8 and it seems most of them can be overcome. So at the moment, I'd like to buy this one.
I have Nexus 6P almost 3 years old phone with Android 8.1 and works fine, only the last version of the DJI app has some issues, but I downgraded the app to 4.2.16 and it works fine.
Hi, as of the moment, we do have compatible devices that will work with your spark and these devices are tested in our facility, however, we will keep improving our app to more choices when in terms of compatible mobile devices. Please see the link for reference.
I've not ticked any boxes, I use iPad Pro 9.7" (2016) and iPhone 6s Plus, both on iOS 11.4.1, and had no problems with either when controlling my P4 or Mavic Pro.
All firmware & App' at latest builds, and no trouble shooting required on either.
Samsung Note 8 is perfect. No lag no dropouts. One of the brightest screens on the market.
Can run full HD feed with MP too. Given that has a very good cpu and 6G ram I think most devices similar in spec will handle Go4.
iPad Mini4 starting to have video trans issues. Latest iOS update not solving the problems. I think with only an A8, 2G Ram this one is on it's way to not handling Go4.
Samsung Galaxy S3 825 had some pixelating issues with Go4. Rolled back to 4.2.14 and it was fine again.
