I'm in Phoenix and tested the Air today when it was 109F. I immediately received a barometric error and calibration error. After re-calibrating the Air, the barometric error persisted and I had to abandon the flight.
Question: Is the barometric error coming on because it was 109F OR do I need to send my 1-week old Air into DJI for repairs?
Hi. I am sorry that you had this issue with your DJI Mavic Air. I don't recommend you to fly your Drone in this condition. The heat can cause problems on the Drone when in flight, it might affect the sensors of the Drone that is why it is giving out those error messages. Please fly safely. Thank you.
Match the color in the "not good to fly" with the stats box below. Its saying you can only get 11 sats locked. I find this to be inaccurate most of the time when I use this app. As far as the heat goes I'm not sure. The highest temp I have flown in was 101 in Yuma.
On DJI spec the maximum temperature you can fly is 104. But my battery become very hot after flying over 90. Be careful when you fly in high temperature.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll be forced to fly to cooler climates which is okay by me.

Thank you for your response. I'll refrain from using the Air when its above 95-100F.
Dang, I live in Phoenix too. Looks like we cant fly our drones for 5 months out of the year! haha. I keep getting Barometer error too on my brand new Air. I have literally calibrated and updated everything.
