Hi all! Just started playing with my new Mavic Air. Interested what people use to create 360 degree panoramas? Automatic on-drone generated panoramas work on Skypixel, Google Photos, and Facebook (after running through 360facebook.com) but built-in DJI software seems to do pretty bad job an joining photos. Lightroom 6 and Phtoshop Elements do much better job at joining photos, but none of the above online services recognize generated images as 360 degree panoramas...

I use Microsoft ICE. Just put all of your photos into one folder. Open the folder in ICE and it does it for you. I've tried other software but I didn't feel they were
as good as ICE. ICE is free to download and use.

Thanks. Just tried ICE. Maybe I missed some setting, but it seems to downsizing images quite a bit - the same panorama created in Lightroom is 18K pixels wide, but from ICE it comes out only as 5K px wide...

Did you use .dng or .jpg , ice does not support dng files so if you import them it gets the thumnail jpg from the dng file & uses that which is a much lower res .jpg than the original .jpg if you follow what i'm saying.

Here is a link to my ICE tutorial.  Very important to have a 2:1 aspect ratio or else online services won't recognize the file as a 360.  Adding 360 tags helps too.

Thanks all!
Yes, I was trying to use .dng which resulted in crap quality with ICE. Converting source images to .jpg fixed that issue.
2:1 aspect is also a great tip. I can now even get panoramas created with Lightroom recognised as 360! Saying that, it looks like ICE did slightly better job, so will use going forward...

Do you download it from Microsoft?  I am always looking for a better way to stitch the 360's.  I've had good luck with the DJI app but I want the higher quality from the SD card.
