I read somewhere that DJI are now  saying that the OTG Cable is now being given the ok  to use  it with the R/C  controller/ ipad ?
even though a short while ago they said it was only for use with the 3Dgoggles  and if used otherwise it would void your warranty ???
any ideas ??

As of the moment, OTG cable is still not officially recommended at present. We have already confirmed this with the right team.

Hi thanks for that i did think it was odd as i hadn't heard anything official , i dont use one myself, but people are continually  going on about them using them , but hey ho thats their problem

So no, it depends on the situation if waranty is void. I always use OTG with my iPad mini2 without any issue. When OTG is finally supported with the new firmware, it will only be supported for Android according to the DJO comments in this thread: https://forum.dji.com/forum.php? ... ;page=1#pid1454659. But DJI Admin comments are currently quite contradictionary at the moment.
