What should I do,
I’ve just bought a 2nd hand mp, is there anything I should do ie factory reset
I havnt got a pc so cant get assistant 2
I just literally plugged in to my dji go app and it seemed to be up & running within 10-20seconds

Reset IMU and calibrate compass. Make sure all software/firmware is up to date on batteries, MP and remote controller.

Never take off unless you have over 10 satellites and make sure your home point is recorded.

Welcome to the Mavic Pro club, Great drone you have, make sure you have a good pre flight checklist and enjoy your flying.

I would suggest to read and study the manual at least 2 times. Then check out local drone regulations. Find an open space and take off in beginner mode with enough sattelites.

I think one very important step besides reading the manual and watching YouTube channels is understanding where you can fly without getting yourself or someone else in trouble.  By this I mean as a hobbyist, you may not know that you cannot fly in certain areas.  An excellent place to start is at this website:  https://www.faa.gov/uas/where_to_fly/b4ufly/

Download the app "b4ufly" to your mobile device.  B4UFLY is an easy-to-use smartphone app that helps unmanned aircraft operators determine whether there are any restrictions or requirements in effect at the location where they want to fly.  

Also, be sure to register your drone.  Go to https://www.faa.gov/uas/getting_started/registration/ and follow the instructions under the heading of UAS Flown under the Special Rule for Model Aircraft (Section 336)

Congrats on your Mavic Pro, as everyone kindly suggested above: read the manual, ensure IMU and compass are calibrated properly, remove gimbal protector, register your drone, and Happy Safe Droning

watch you tube videos to learn your drone. you might want to calibrate IMU and compass.

Watch some decent tutorials
Fly in beginners mode the first few times in a WIDE OPEN field.
Wait for at least 10-15 sats and update of the home point.
Too much to tell, make sure you take it slow!
