Nice! I live in the US, you're lucky to have such places. If that castle was in the US, it would have been torn down and a Walmart erected in its place. Shame of it is, the government would have allowed it! Beautiful pics though!

I spent some time in Ireland with my bride for our first anniversary.  That was 14 years ago and long before drones.  Both our homes are decorated with the pictures of that trip.  The castle pictures are out favorites.    At some point we will go back but this time I will take a P3, or the next variant, with me.  Thank you for sharing.

Wow Great shots!
I see posts like this with amazing quality, and then there are some posts complaining about the quality of the stills coming from this camera (And some ARE actually pretty bad). Makes me wonder if there is really that much difference in quality from quad to quad, or maybe its part user error?
For example:  http://forum.dji.com/thread-15795-1-1.html

Sweet, thanks for sharing.

What do you use for editing? And what settings do you use when shooting pictures?

I use Adobe Lightroom 6 (on a Mac).

I shoot in LOG and currently doing Custom Style: 0 sharpness, -2 saturation, -2 contrast. I mostly shoot 3-brackets, sometimes 5-brackets (hold down the shutter button in the app to open menu for shooting mode). I then create an HDR-photo from the 3 or 5 brackets (pictures taken with varying degrees of exposure) to get the optimal freedom to create the final photo I like.

Thanks guys, much appreciated.

I tend to use the HDR setting on the Phantom when shooting, which stores a lot of image info for later use without adding too much noise. A lot of the time, the information is there in the image but can't been seen. I use Photoshop to bring out the details I want. This is particularly useful with things like clouds, water detail etc.

I think the Phantom is like any photographic tool. It's not going to give the best results by taking a standard image and viewing it un-processed, as it where. A little time spent on the aftercare of the image can yield results.
