I am able to connect my Xbox one controller to my phone using an otg cable but the app doesn't recognize it as a remote controller.

Is it possible to control spark using Xbox one controller?
If not, what kind of controller can I use?

You need to Buy a DJI Remote Controller for the Spark.

Only the Tello can be used with 3rd Party Controllers, by using the Octopus App on Android.
