Hi!! I wanted to ask. When I start the flight with Mavic Pro it is necessary to always have the Gps of the mobile or it is not necessary that the mavic has built its own Gps; The phones I use are Iphone 5s and xiaomi readmi note4.

It is suggested that you should have your device with GPS incase you want to update new home point from your current position so the aircraft can return to your location

Your device doesn't need gps, it is recommended that you fly using airplane mode. The MP has it's own gps.

Hi. Thank you for reaching DJI Forum. You don't really need the GPS of your mobile device when you're going to fly your drone. Only the drone itself. Unless you're going to use Follow Me Mode since it's following the GPS of the mobile device.

Thanks for the advice!!!! I honestly would not go my mind with anything that Gps may need in this operation
