Hi

Im new to dji, this is my first drone
Im trying to calibrate the remote controller
With no joy.. when im on the part with the joy sticks, when im move them up the blue dot doesn't move.. is this normal or does the app tell me when i need to calibrate it
Or im guessing it doesn't need calibrating which is why it won't let me do it??
Any advice would be a help

Can you try to reinstall the app and make sure  to back up your files and sync your flight records before you uninstall it?  Do  you have a different phone to use so that we can isolate the issue?

The smaller one is suppose to move round the square
But mine doesnt move on both?

Ive tried it on another phone amd still the same
Cant calibrate controller
Im new to dji, is there something built into the programme to stop you feom doing it till it needs it ??

Any more ideas why it isnt working...little bit disapointed really, ive only has this a few days

Try it repeatedly, from the middle to the first point on top.
Till it moves
Then from the top middle to the right, following the dot from the last position to the new one.
Square after square

It need sometimes a bit

I just turn it clockwise round and round multible times, and it eventually will work... Ios devices are better

Would there be something in the firmware that doesnt allow you to perform a remote calibration unless needed??

And having the same problem that im having?

I've got a regular S7, and I have the exact same problem.  I bought the Fly More kit so everything was already set up fresh out the box, but whenever I've gone to try to calibrate the controller (as I've got a slight drift issue and the whole drone rotates anti clockwise whenever I push up or down on the left stick) but it point blank refuses to acknowledge my input on the calibration screen.  Which is pretty poor.  

I've got the Note8 on Oreo.

I had to hold the stick in the corner for some sec...then the dot moved.
I could be wrong, but I think its only the corners that matters.

you have to keep trying.....that's what the "repeat" means...after each cal timeout the next time the dot will go to the next corner...took 3 or 4 maybe 5 calibration time outs before it would go all the way around. just like with life keep trying till you get it. i am using my old phone an LG S3 (VS985)
