Bought phantom 4 in March 2017.   Wonderful for a few months.   In august 2017 the transmission board failed and lost transmission of view from aircraft to iPad.   Lost all advanced functions too.   Still flew well and recorded.videos.  After many failed online support attempts, dji approved warranty repair including shipping.  But this took 1 month and prime summer was gone.  Same problem recurred in early July this year.   DJI says too bad, now the cost is mine.

Thanks for getting back to us. The case number Mindy mentioned is the previous case number as you said that the drone was repaired under warranty in the last time, it will be better for us to check the exact status. Also, may I know what troubleshooting have you tried? Not sure if it the same case, we'd like to have more details for better assistance, thanks so much!

Received with thanks! Upon checking the case number, the last repair was about August 2017. I'm afraid that it might be paid service if the unit has been out of warranty period. For your situation, we sincerely suggest to start a case and send it in from here: https://repair.dji.com/repair/index The local team will take care once the package arrived.
