My DJI Mavic Pro remote control says 'In NFZ' and does not allow me to fly, yet I am not in a No Fly Zone (see screenshot). I am close, but I have been flying for 2 years at this site and now it will not let me, despite clearly being away from the local airport.

Hi, sorry for this issue. I would like to ask if you manage to update your flight database? Did you send an email to our fly safe department? Please provide the current firmware and app version of your drone.

Check to see if there are any TFR in the area.

@Kingram Thank you so much for this help. I was going crazy. How do you find this info? I see tfr.faa.gov, but do you scroll throw all of the listings? Can you type in a zip code? I am trying to figure out that site, but doesn't seem so user friendly.

I am trying to figure out that site, but doesn't seem so user friendly. Did you just sort by state? When I sort by NJ, I see the President's posting from Aug 4-Aug 13.

The easy way is to use the free AIRMAP app, as it will show all the TFRs. ( available for iOS and Android )

Or you can go to http://tfr.faa.gov/tfr2/list.html
then select a state and press GO ( the UI is not that great )

or http://tfr.faa.gov/tfr_map_ims/html/index.html and zoom the map

ya this is a voting year so lots of Presidential/Congress etc movement at least till November.
