Im looking to mount a Sony Alpha 7 r iii on the Ronin and want to use either the 24/105 or 24/240 zoom. Now I understand in the perfect world we have to balance at the focal length we intend to use but I intend to use this only for stills and was wondering if I could balance it in the middle of its focal length and quickly zoom in and take a pic or zoom out and take a pic returning to the centrally balanced point. In other word will the motors be ok for a short time?
