I regrettably bought the RC with a screen, turns out not only don't you have to connect a mobile device, you cannot hook up a secondary mobile device.

As GS Pro doesn't run on Android I'm now screwed.

Before I return it, can the Pro+ V2.0 on a normal RC be connected to GS Pro on an iPad?

Get an ordinary P4 pro controller to match your drone.
Caution - the V2.0 and original P4 pro are not compatible with each other
Take a minute to link your new controller and now you can run any mapping software you choose.

The answer is the same regardless of your budget.
You could sell your controller to recoup $$.
You could find a little used controller on ebay from someone that lost their Phantom.
But if you want to do mapping, you can't do it with the + controller so that's what you have to do.
