When I update firmware, I get this:

What does "unsynchronized" mean.  Also, I still am unable to set "bird home point" and "rc location."  Once I arm the bird, I then can set "bird home point," but still cannot set "rc location."  Still getting weak signal.  Bird is getting 15 sattilites.


Using IPad Air 2 ios 8.2

Mines exactly the same. I haven't updated to new firmware yet. Mine was working OK till the last update
so was hoping this new one would sort it out. Obviously it hasn't.

DJI can correct me if I am wrong. But it means that you are currently unsynchronized with the latest firmware. After you complete the update you will be synchronized. look at the log file:

My log file only said what I mentioned in the first post.  Any thoughts?  No mention of "packet upgrade"

You are only looking at the result file that is located on the SD card root (WM610_FW_RESULT_AB) . There are two hidden folders that are on the SD card, you need to enable hidden folders under Windows folder options, then they will appear (greyed out). Click on the LOG folder and find this file name: WM610_FW_LOG_AB. Hope this helps you out.

At this point, maybe try another SD card and make sure you complete a fresh format to FAT32 or exFAT before putting the firmware file on the chip.

That's sometimes the root cause for update failures.

After thinking about this and looking at my log... all of your update numbers are the same as mine. I believe this is why it says upgrade cancelled.... there is nothing to update

Flight 1. Did you ever get your bird to set bird location or rc home point location?  Also have notice the video connection does not seem to be as good?  Spent a fortune for this bird and firmware updates seem to be all over the place.  I was just fine until this last firmware update!

I have updated to the latest firmware. At the same time I deleted the app from iPad Air and reinstalled it (on advice from another thread) and now RTH is working. This seems to have worked for me.
