I ordered the Mavic 2, not shipped yet and noticed that the controller 5D button has no zoom functionality. Is it technically impossible or possible with future firmware? Yes, shoot in 4K and zoom on post but just wondering.

The Mavic 2 Zoom has the zoom wheel on the remote. And from what I have understood, the Mavic 2 Pro that I have just ordered too has no zoom function.

I ordered the Mavic 2 Pro and assumed the zoom in 1080 would still exist but it is not a deal breaker. Only need to know if it is a total technical impossibility. It surely would not cut into optical zoom sales.

I am interested to know this as well, thus your question is very valid.

I think because of the 4k 60 frame. Does the Mavic 2 zoom has 4k 60 frame?!

I don’t believe there is zoom function with M2P, all I can tell you is no hassleblad Camera has ever had digital zoom, if you want zoom with hassleblad, you just buy another lens,  will this continue the trend continue .

Thank you, this was my understanding as well. If I had wanted any zoom, I would have ordered the M2Z.

The zom feature on 5D button in Mavic Pro is a very useful feature for me. I am very disaapointed that Mavic 2 Pro doesn't have this feature, it just like going backward for a new product as such! It is just software implementation which is already available in original Mavic Pro, why not in Mavic 2 Pro also! Unhappy......
