So I have the phantom 3 standard and I fly it for recreational purposes and I am wanting to get the part 107 license so I can fly commercially, should I get either the Mavic 2 pro or the Mavic zoom. Should I upgrade? And which one?

I would get Part 107 license, then get Mavic 2.

It depends on you if want better video quality and safer, smarter drone then you should get the Mavic 2 pro

I think you shouldnt be asking us instead you should be asking yourself.
What kind of work am i planning on doing with the drone?
Do i require high quality video and or photos?
Is portability an issue?
How much money am i willing to spend?
Do i require a zoom lens for this work?
Is the noise of the drone going to be an issue?
What flight times will be required to do this work?
Is weight of the drone an issue?
What about visability of the drone in flight is this going to cause me any problems?
These and many more questions you should be asking yourself if you wish to fly comercially.
We cannot answer these questions for you.
Once you know these answers then you will know which drone will be best for you.

It is all up to you, at the end of the day it will be your own opinion/decision that matters.  And yes you should update.
