The Pilot App 1.1.2 running on a iPad Air 2 froze on me today when I selected the Return-to-Home at the same time the Battery Warning (set at 30%) occurred.  I found I could not move the slider to start RTH or cancel the dialog.  Other Pilot App functions appeared to work normally.  I had to close and reopen the Pilot App to get back to the normal camera/map screen.
