Should the external antenna on Goggles RE be used when flying the Mavic 2?

If yes; will the cylindrical antenna work better than the pagoda as it supports both 2.4 and 5.8 GHz?

Just to clarify; I am talking about the DJI pagoda antenna that came with the Goggles RE.

The manual says it should be used for OcuSync air. It's not clear whether it should be used with Mavic 2 though.
