Hi, thanks for sharing your photo. I assume this is a cropped photo? Just a friendly suggestion, it would be better to keep it on a landscape orientation to see the beauty of the horizon, anyways still an awesome shot. Thanks for sharing.

Yes it is a cropped photo.  I decided to go this route because with landscape orientation, the landscape took away from the actual dam - which I wanted to highlight.  There was a lot more homes and such under that took away from the dam out there.

I used the "tilt shift" edit in Instagram to put that effect on.

And right in front of the dam is Folsom Prison.  =]

Yep, it has a interesting H.O. scale to it.  Nice shot.
