Got the footage this AM and PM, used the DJI quick edit app with cached video. Not bad for 5-10 minutes of editing work beachside. Left out tons of good footage but will make a more professional-looking video later.
**edit** included a frigatebird (?) fly-by at 0:10. It followed me back to shore from 500m out.

About shat my pants when a frigatebird got all territorial and divebombed the camera. I'll try to share a clip of that....
