WARNING !

I have found that putting the left stick at the 45* down position (either left or right) initiates the CSC command and will result in the aircraft falling out of the sky if you are flying.

This is a dangerous command for on-ground shutdown as well, as the aircraft could attempt to yaw before getting to the full-down 45* position and shutting down, possibly tipping over or damaging the landing gear.

I would suggest the CSC command be limited to the original shutdown positions and the new command be limited to straight down on the left hand stick for three seconds.

And yes, this is on the new controller.

I've not experienced this before. Sounds like you have your Intelligent motor cut off disabled.

As long as bird descends, it will NOT cut off with left stick.

So Jim, are you saying that your Phantom shutdown mid-air ?
Or that while on the ground holding the left stick down shuts off the motors ?
Which is what its supposed to do, holding it to the left or right at the same time will make no difference, as you are still holding down for more than 3 seconds and if no decent is detected it shuts off the motors.
