Mavic 2 Pro price increase just noticed (U.K), last week was the accesories, this week the aircraft

It seems no reason was given for increase, except dji reserve the right, it looks like they initially got prices wrong, but it’s a bit underhanded to increase so soon, looks like early adopters got something for being just that.

I think it's unexpected tariffs now starting to show.

Edit:- Still time yet, not seen in local retail prices yet.

Well I would go for it, because I don’t see it dropping in price, not before Christmas, would have thought they would have been able to calculate tariffs before it’s release .

Yes, I noticed that too.
The pro went up 50 euros, whereas the zoom is still priced the same!

We could also see a P5 soon , but judging by the price hike on the Mavic , we might see that one reach the 2k mark or higher, then we might have to start selling .

My moneys on DJI going down the Mavic 2 route now, I can't see much development on the Phantom range now beyond the P4P V2. It has it all (almost).

What would a P5 have to offer that the P4's didn't that hasn't been covered in the Mavic 2s I wonder ?

I believe if it were due to "tariffs" then the US would see them before any other market. I do not keep up with the UK news are they in a trade spat with China as well?

No but the US tariffs dictated unilaterally were also applied to Europe, Canada, Mexico and many other countries. Basically affecting prices everywhere.

I believe the US price has also gone up to $1499 from $1449.

If these rises are not US tariff driven then we will have those to look forward too as well.

yeah unfortunately I don't think it is tariff driven if so it would be across the board affecting all products. This seems to be pointed directly towards the M2Pro

Yes, it is only pointing to M2Pro. I guess if you examine very carefully the M2Pro of the batch now selling and the early batch, you will find a difference.

The price increase was announced something like two or three days before new tariffs were publically announced. To me it very much looks like there is a link.

They must be increasing the prices before black friday

Another £50 on just the drone! So with the fly more kit and ND filters that's £1,787 (with current exchange rates that makes US$2,342). Nice!

Exactly my thoughts.......

I used to import electronic components from China to Australia.
All prices were quoted in $US, so if tariffs or whatever have caused an 'adjustment' in the price' then maybe we all just got trumped
