I have turned on the caption option on my nexus 7 II but my tablet does not record sound when I fly. Am I missing something? Does sound get recorded directly to video or do you have to sync them later?

The Phantom does not have a microphone -- and, that's where the actual recording is being done. You could run another app on you tablet to record sound as you're flying. And, they lay that over the video when you edit it.

That makes sense. I just thought there was a feature like that already built into the app were your device recorded audio from the ground and automatically synced it with the footage during the flight.
