Worth taking out on the water? I have several lakes near me and wondered if those floats you can install on the Mavic work anygood. Strictly for emergency landing. Some of you guys have amazing water shots. I'm afraid to just get close to the water sometimes. Training wheels for me I guess.

If your planning on doing a lot of flights over water then yes they are a good idea.
But be aware that they will make the drone more susceptible to wind gusts and will drain the battery faster than normal. Landing on the water however should be avoided unless in an emergency.
