Lost connection to the remote, tried relinking no go. Tried the tutorial to reset the WiFi (after power up hold the power button for nine seconds wait for three beeps power off and try to relink no go, did this for both the Spark and Remote) I can connect to the Spark using the iPhone and WiFi, but cannot see the WiFi for the remote also when I try to scan the code on the remote the camera is black and will not scan at all. Did a Firmware upgrade from the PC for the Spark to the latest version and reset back to default same issue. Any assistance is appreciated.

Mark

Start the RC and the Spark, wait till "on",  push on Spark power-button for 3 seconds, till ONE beep
Push on RC the 3 buttons till beeping
keep close to Spark, beeping stops,  paired ;-)

Appreciate the reply and video but my remote will not beep continuously, it just beeps once I have waited upward of 45 secs holding the pause, FN and customization button, I have also been close to the Spark while performing this.

Hi,
Just a thought, should you check if the RC has the latest firmware?
Cheers.

I have no connection with either my iPhone or Note 8 to the remote control, I can connect to the Spark though so I am unsure how to check the firmware to the RC. The RC blinks red three times then pauses and starts over.

Get a cable and check if you can get a connect in the Go 4 app.
If not: contact service

That would have to be an OTG cable to connect to DJI GO4, either with an iPhone or Tablet. Is the RC SSID broadcasting?

No the RC is not broadcasting an SSID only the Spark does.

Can it be that your R/C is transmitting the Wifi on 5.8 GHz and your phone is not capable of that?

Just a wild guess...

I loaded a WiFi Analyzer on my Note 8, it sees my home Wireless on both 2.4 and 5GHZ but not the RC, I am thinking the RC is bad Probably time to contact service I appreciate all the replies

Ah ok, well than you can try to do a factory reset of the R/C. If that doesn't help, open a case with DJI.

Hi there, thanks for reaching DJI Forums. Can you please verify when did you purchased your spark remote controller, if it still under warranty (12 months) I highly suggest to send it for repair. https://repair.dji.com/repair/index Thanks!

I will need to confirm but I believe it was purchased September 2017 through the DJI online store. I will go ahead and contact service and see what can be done. Mark

Had the same issue with spark. What worked for me after talking to DJI support: when you reset spark's wifi settings with 3 beeps (holding power for ~9 seconds) turn it off immediately once you start seeing spark LEDs blinking green! Don't wait and just turn it off once it starts blinking green. Then, when you turn it on again, give it a few seconds to warm up and start, and hold power for 3 seconds. After that controller pairs to drone no prob in a standard way (3 buttons pressed at the same time). works like a charm.
